Barbara A. Elliott, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was a member of Durkee Road Church of God of Prophecy. She was a foster grandparent assistant at Oak Grove School for the past five years. She was the oldest of ten children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Elliott; parents, Greely and Myrtle Brown Hyatt; brother, Larry Hyatt and sister, Lorene Suits. She is survived by three children, Rick Elliott and wife, Judy, Jerry Elliott and wife, Vickie, and Angie Boyd and husband, Rick, all of Cleveland; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Boul and husband, Randy, Jeff Elliott and wife, Charity, Nichole Guinn, Alisha Tinsley and husband, Scott, Tommy Calfee and wife, Nicole, Ashley Elliott and wife, Rhonda, Dustin Elliott and wife, Lori, Eric Elliott, Mark Frey and wife, Laura Beth, Tricia Cox and husband, Kevin; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Teague and Aliene Smith, both of Cleveland and Greta Bolen of Lawrenceville, GA; four brothers, Ronald Hyatt of Acworth, GA, Donnie Hyatt of Woodstock, GA, Jerry Hyatt of Cleveland and Eddie Hyatt of Yorkville, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 3:00 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moody and Jim Godsey officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a White Dove Release Ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:30 on Wednesday, April 22 at the funeral home.
