Mildred Hubbard

Mildred "Loree" Hubbard, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009, in a local hospital. She was formerly of Jackson, Mississippi, where she worked as a L.P.N. with St. Dominic Catholic Hospital. She moved to Cleveland in 1991 and joined Westmore Church of God. She volunteered at the Caring Place and was an officer in the local TOPS Chapter. She was a regular walker at the Bradley Square Mall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie C. Hubbard, her parents, Millard and Nina Rhine Green, and two sisters: Inez Showah and Janelle Vanutti. She is survived by three daughters: Waneva Bradbury and husband Nicholas of Cleveland, Yvonne Hubbard of Cleveland, and Guylene Hubbard of Knoxville; two grandchildren: Cicely Barker and husband Josh, and Micah Bradbury and wife Amanda, all of Cleveland; four great-grandchildren: Sophie Barker, Landry Barker, Reece Bradbury and Kate Bradbury, all of Cleveland; one brother, Lemartis Green of New Hyde Park, New York; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Wendell Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Pallbearers include: David Lassiter, David Whitaker, Herb Terry, Dale Estep, Carl Ferrer, Josh Barker and Micah Bradbury. Her family will receive friends from 4 ? 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
