LeRoy Ogle

LeRoy Ogle, 96, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009. He was the oldest living member of Big Spring Baptist Church where he was a member for 76 years and had served as a deacon for over sixty of those years. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Thomas Ogle, mother, Minnie Boyles Ogle, and step-mother, Ethel Whaley Ogle, as well as his wife of 58 years, Lou Williamson Ogle and son-in-law, Mathew Barbiasz. He is survived by two daughters: Alice Sue Barbiasz of Ware, MA, Barbara Jean Plemons of Cleveland and son-in-law and special caregiver, Bob Plemons of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Michael Barbiasz and wife Susan of Ware, MA, Chris Barbiasz and wife Sally of Temple, NH, Tim Barbiasz and wife Wendy of Ware, MA, Amy Claxton and husband Chris of Maryville, and Ike Plemons and wife Amy of Cleveland; and great-grandchildren: Matt Barbiasz, Zac Barbiasz, Chad Barbiasz and Katelyn Barbiasz, all of Ware, MA, Lee Barbiasz and Dwight Barbiasz, both of Temple, NH, LouCindia Claxton and Drey Claxton, both of Maryville, and Owen Plemons of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverends Joe Brooks and Chris Seiber officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
