Zebb Webb, 99, of McDonald passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. Originally from Pike County, KY he lived in this area for the past 33 years. He was a coal miner for 50 years, retiring from Kentucky Carbon in 1976 and served his last 33 years as a gentleman farmer. He was a member of Cleveland Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Webb; parents, Della and Millard Martin; grandchildren, Timothy Carl Hobbs and Sherri Thompson; and 7 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Sharon Hobbs and husband, Carl of Cleveland and Debbie Parker and husband, Larry of McDonald, Aaron Webb of Maryland, Delores Biggs and husband, Bill of Maryland, Yvonne Kroviak and husband, Ed of Florida, Charlotte Messer of Florida; 17 grandchildren, Melissa Hobbs of Cleveland, Matthew Parker and wife, Jamina of McDonald, Ashley Parker and wife, Amy of McDonald, Michael Parker and wife, Sharon of Cleveland, Jody Winter, Jack, Jill and Jimmy Biggs, Terri Kroviak, Vicki Grider, Aaron, Rick, and Timothy Messer, Debra Couch, Tambra Cabrera, Kimberly Purvis and Cindy DelMarco; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Carl Hobbs and Minister Reggie Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Matthew Parker, Keith Lewis, Ashley Parker, Michael White, Michael Parker and Chad Burris serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
