Janet Pearl Guy

Janet Pearl Guy, 74, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was of the Church of God faith, was formerly employed by Wal-Mart and Rocky Top Market where she enjoyed talking to her regular customers and meeting new people. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Edward J. Guy and her parents, J.H. and Fredericka (Whetzel) VanMeter. Survivors include her children: Ed Guy, Yolanda Guy, Kim Walker and husband Ben all of Cleveland; Ray Guy and wife Mary Ann of Purvis, Mississippi; and Tim Guy of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren: Nicky Guy, Brittany Dobbins, Randy Guy, Kasey Guy and Ryan Guy; Jeremy and Andrew Walker as well as longtime family friend, Dee Bosley. No services are planned at this time. The family requests that memorials be made to Bradley Healthcare Rehabilitation Unit.
