Phil Creed Gray

Phil Creed Gray, 67, a resident of McDonald, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2009. He was a life-long resident of Bradley County and was a member of Freedom Worship Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, George F. Gray and Kate A. Varnell Gray; and brothers, David Gray and Ronald Gray. He is survived by his wife and mother of his children, Lena Gray of McDonald; two children, Jimmy Dean Gray of Memphis and Anna Marie Gray of McDonald; two grandchildren, Christopher Stokes of McDonald and Cindy Leatherwood of Sweetwater; one great grandchild, Angel Marie Leatherwood; two brothers, Larry Gray and wife, Sandra and Bill Gray and wife, Judy; one sister, Beverly Chapman and husband, Forrest, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Millsap officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
