James L Frye

James L. Frye, 71, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 at his residence. He was retired from the United States Navy and Peyton’s Southeastern. He attended Restoration Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley Frye and Nellie Mayes Frye. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Frye; children, Larry Frye and wife, Marisha of Chicago, IL and Lisa Bacon of Pittsburg, PA; five grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Boundarant and husband, Doug of Bristol and Betty Grizzle of Athens; brothers, Gary Frye and wife, Kathy of Sweetwater, J.B. Frye of Etowah, Gilbert Frye and wife, Jewell of Sweetwater, Charles Frye and wife, Jean of Athens and Bobby Frye of Athens. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend John Looper officiating. Interment will follow in McDonald Eastview Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
