Glenna Faye “Cricket” Carter, 57, of Bradley County, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 in a local hospital. She was a bus driver for the Bradley County School system. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl Peeler and Eva Rogers Peeler; and brother, Gilbert Peeler. She is survived by children, Tina Wallace and husband, Tommy of Cleveland, and Dana Miller and husband, Rodney of Cleveland; grandchildren, Derek Wallace, Nathan Wallace, James Miller and Rachel Miller all of Cleveland; brothers, Gordon Peeler, Dwight Peeler and David Peeler; sisters, Patsy Devine, Ruthie Valentine, Vita Lee Garrett, Loretta Peeler, Lavada Peeler, Charlotte Croft and Earlene Womac; boyfriend and long time companion, Wayne Arp of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Vernon Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
