Jerry Kenneth Gourley

Jerry Kenneth Gourley, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away April 7, 2009, in a local hospital. He had been employed with Bowater for 42 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Gourley, mother, Gertrude Graves Richesin, and brother-in-law, Larry Kyker. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Gourley of Cleveland; one son, Ricky Joe Gourley of Chattanooga; step-father, Gaither Richesin; step-mother, Wanda Gourley; one sister, Rhonda Kyker; one brother, Dennis Richesin and wife Cynthia; one half brother, Richard Gourley; nieces: Mandy Bonnough and husband Kurt, Kelsey Richesin, Lindsey Richesin and Nicole Beene; nephew, Wade Kilgore; one great nephew, Xzaiden Beene; and one special cousin, Sue Patterson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Bobby Lawson and the Reverend Joe Whittaker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Steve Adams, Todd Marr, Travis Davis, Scott Grisham, Larry Nichols and Kevin Gavagan will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the funeral home.
