Frank Charles Woodcock, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009 at a local hospital. He was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church where he also taught Sunday school. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Woodcock was the son of the late Harry Leonard Woodcock and Eleanor Madeline Mitchell Woodcock and was also preceded in death by his son, Dale Woodcock. He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Woodcock of Cleveland; three children: Diane Work, Denise Walker and Dwight Woodcock; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Golda McCracken; many nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Baker of the United Missionary Baptist Church officiating. His family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the funeral home prior to the service.
