Ernest Carson

Ernest A. Carson, 58, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 in a Memphis hospital. He was employed as a truck driver with Ocoee River Transport for the past eleven years. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Carson. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Plaskett Carson of Georgetown; mother, Betty Carson of Georgetown; two children: Heather Webb and husband, Keith Webb of Athens and Aaron Teague of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Anna and Jacob Teague; one sister, Tricia Carson and husband, Bob Perkins of Atlanta, GA; one brother, John Carson and fiancée Misty Johnson of Georgetown; mother-in-law Joann Smalley Mayes and husband, David Mayes of Cleveland. A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
