Bobbie Edward Smith, 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at his residence. He was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith. He was a loving son and brother. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1976. He loved music, fishing and visiting with family and friends. He was formerly employed with Brown Stove Works. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Smith and Margaret Wilson Smith. Survivors include his special friend, Annette Burgner of Cleveland and other good friends at the Summitt; four sisters and spouses: Lanette and Al Sledd of Las Vegas, NV, Marie and Buddy Linville of Cleveland, Gay Fairris of Romulus, MI, Janet and Dan Palmer of Seymour, TN; two brothers: Jim Smith and wife Debbie of Foss, OK and Rick Smith and Sue of Taylor, MI; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Dan Palmer and Minister Jason Pflug officiating.
