Wayne Wright was born on July 31, 1953 in Cleveland, TN. to the late Robert Lewis and Nettie Lee Wright. He was of the Baptist faith. Wayne was known for his strong work ethic and his caring and loving ways. He was an avid outdoorsman. He leaves behind his loving work family at J & J Industries in Dalton, GA, where for the past eighteen years he was plant manager of twisting and heat set. He will always be greatly loved and missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Oliver O. and Vinnie Lee; paternal grandparents, Poley and Ellen Honeycutt Wright; and his daughter, Tonya Renee Wright Bettis three weeks ago. Wayne leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Donna Wheeler Wright of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law Robbie Dewayne and Renee Wright of Smyrna, TN; stepdaughter, Holly and Lucian Timis of Chicago, IL; stepson, Dale Hoskinson of Burtonsville Maryland; grandchildren: Brianna Bettis of Cleveland. Zachary, Hannah, Nychole, Titus and Quincy Wright of Smyrna, TN; step grandchildren; Amber Litviak, Devan Shaw, Griffin and Jaylin Hoskinson; sister and brother-in-law, Inez Wright Cannon and Ron Cannon of Varnell, GA.; nieces and nephews: Ronda Cannon Coker, Samantha Cannon, and Rob Cannon all of Varnell, Ga., Ashley Hale and Olivia Hale, both of Chattanooga; great niece and nephew Jessica and C.J. Hicks and Wesley Coker; great-great niece and nephew Alyxia and Jacob Hicks. Mother and father-in-law Don and Louise Wheeler of Apison; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Linda and Ken Ojala, of Apison. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Zachery Wright, Ken Wright, Gary Wright, Tommy Wright, Chris Rittenhouse and Ken Ojala serving as pall bearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN.
