Virginia Yeary-Ferguson

Virginia Yeary-Ferguson, 69, a resident of Nashville, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 in a Nashville hospital. She attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was a nurse and employed with Emeritus Senior Living. She was an avid fan and loved UT Football games. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Yeary. She is survived by her mother, Elwana Yeary, of Cleveland; two children: Allyson Shuford and husband, Randy; and Danny Ferguson, all of Chattanooga; four grandchildren: Christopher Shuford; Callie Shuford; Daniel Ferguson, Tia’lee Ferguson; brother, Robert Yeary and wife, Mona of Hixson; and several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Donna Jenkins, Caroline Brooks and Rachel Tackett. Memorial services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
