Vera K Morgan

Vera K. Morgan, 89, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2011 in a local hospital. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Cordia Kirkpatrick; husband Ernest Boyd Morgan; son, Ernest Raymond Morgan; brother, Vernon L. Kirkpatrick; and sister, Vesta June Estes. She is survived by her grandsons: Joseph Ray Morgan and Oscar Nathaniel Morgan; sister, Virginia Lee Walker and husband, Kenneth E. Walker, all of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 07, 2011 in Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville with the Reverend Jeff Evans officiating. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 06, 2011 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland.
