Ruth Louise Stewart, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, SC. She was a member of Jensens Activity Club, secretary of Jensens Bowling League, Past Matron of Unity Chapter 201 of the Eastern Star. She retired in 1981, after twenty years from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Travel Division in the Pentagon. She was preceded in death by her parents; J. Roy Meneely and Emma A. King Meneely; stepmother; Pearle V. Meneely; brother, Robert T. Meneely and stepbrother, Roy F. Pentz. She is survived by three sons: Richard “Dick” W. Stewart and wife, June of Chattanooga; Ronald R. Stewart and wife, Missy of Portland, OR; and Rob D. Stewart and wife, Julie of Chicago, IL; two brothers; Donald E. Meneely of Dallas, TX; and John R. Meneely, Jr. of Greensburg, PA.; one stepbrother, Dale M. Pentz of Willow Street, PA.; one sister, Dorothy Smith of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.; six grandsons; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Belin United Methodist Church in South Carolina at a later date.
