Lillian Irene Crowe, 70, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She graduated in 1958 from Charleston High School and was a member of Burlington Heights Baptist Church. She was employed with Hardwick Clothes for thirty years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Essie Farris Derrick; two brothers: Bill Derrick and Bob Derrick; and three sisters: Gladys Morris, Floura Ledford and Louise Derrick. She is survived by four children: Jeffrey Crowe and wife Heather of Cleveland, Kathy Ellis and husband Rev. Bill Ellis of Cleveland, Terese Tenpenny of Cleveland, and Sonya Akins and husband Joe of Turtletown; nine grandchildren: Caitlin Davis Hair, Catrina Long, Jerry Ellis, John Ellis, Elijah Ellis, Roswitha Shoemate, Ronnie Tenpenny, April Collins and Nakema Smith; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Lynn Derrick of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Lake Walker and Reverend Bill Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery concluding with a white dove release. Drake Collins, John Ellis, Jonathan Smith, Jerry Ellis, Rick Shoemate and Ronnie Tenpenny will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4 ? 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
