Johnny Lee Lawson

Johnny Lee Lawson, Sr., 63, a resident of Cleveland and a former resident of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2008 in a local hospital. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Lawson was the son of the late William Gene Lawson and Flonnie Cantrell Lawson Carter and was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. He is survived by his five children and spouses: Flonnie Sue and Mark Buway of Belmont, Michigan, Elizabeth and Thomas Madden of Cleveland, Johnny Lee Lawson, Jr. and Donna of Churchill, TN, Mary Ann and David Butler and Paula Lawson all of Cleveland; step father, Albert Carter of Rocky Face, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters: Brenda Lawson Sharp and Sandra Gray both of Rocky Face, Georgia and Faye Stafford of Crandall, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
