John Allen Robinson

John Allen Robinson, 63, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, wood working and was also a lover of animals. He was retired from M&M Mars after 28 years of service. Mr. Robinson was the son of the late Arthur Robinson and Mary Walker Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Robinson of Cleveland; three children and spouses: Shannon and Barry Johnson, Todd Robinson and Brianne and Paul Johnson all of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Ireland Johnson and Addison Robinson; two step grandchildren: Nicolas Johnson and Madison Johnson; sister, Patricia Toepper and husband David Toepper of Bolingbrook, Illinois; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2008 at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father P.J. McGinnity officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
