Ricky Edward Officer

Ricky Edward Officer, 50, a resident of Reliance, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Officer. He is survived by his mother, Edna Duggan Officer of Reliance; one son, James Edward Officer of Sarasota, FL; one daughter, Angela S. Officer of Tampa, FL; one sister, Beverly Officer of Fort Myers, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
