Barbara Joyce Duff Boyd

Barbara Joyce Duff Boyd, age 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 in a local health care facility. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy Duff and Josephine Hall Duff; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Richard Sewell Boyd of Cleveland; four children: Richard K. Boyd of Cleveland, Allan Boyd and wife Melanie of Cleveland, Scott Boyd, and Diana Beckler and husband Tommy also of Cleveland; nine grandchildren: Matt Boyd and wife, Ashlynn of Harrison, Justin Boyd and wife, Niki, Shalyn Boyd, Jacobe Boyd, Javin Boyd, Ashley Boyd, Jace Boyd, Amanda Haltom and Kayla Beckler all of Cleveland; one great grandchild, Sawyer Boyd of Cleveland; two sisters, Norma Goseen of St. Petersburg, FL and Doris Melby of Houston, TX; several nieces and nephews and one special niece, Becky Hamilton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with David Chapan, Alan Monger, Jack Hall, Matt Boyd, Justin Boyd, and Jace Boyd serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
