Berdie White

Berdie M. White, 86, passed away Wednesday afternoon at a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mattie Moses; second husband, Stacey White and also two grandchildren, Dewayne Underwood and Denise Hooker; two sisters, Alice Woody and Laura Lawson. Survivors include two daughters and husbands, Ardonna and Frank Underwood, Dorisell and Larry Duckett; one son and wife, Ronald and Patty White; seven grandchildren, Khristie Hillard, Keith Hannah, Kevin Hannah, Travis Hannah, Stacey Hannah, Dustin White and Brian Walker; ten great-grandchildren; one half brother, Joe Moses and one half sister, Dixie Draffron. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Johnny Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
