Gary Barrett

Gary R. "Bob" Barrett, 60, a life long resident of Cleveland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, February 6, 2009 at the family residence. He was of the Church of God faith. He was an engineer with Systec. Mr. Barrett was the son of the late James Leon Barrett and Mary Naomi Barrett. He is survived by his wife, Judith L. Barrett of Cleveland; four children: Beth Teems and husband Michael Teems of Fort Benning, Georgia, Christi Brackett, James Robert Barrett and Kristen Paige Barrett all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Joann Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. Pallbearers will be Barrett Johnson, Michael Teems, Glenn Lawson, Matt Gee, Bryan Young and Joey Hood. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the funeral home.
