James Phillip Cate

James Phillip Cate, 72, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was of the Methodist faith. He was an international engineer and owned and operated Thomas J.. Davis Engineering. Mr. Cate was the son of the late Bill Cate and Willie Moore Cate and was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Cate. He is survived by his daughter, Jennie Chon of Cleveland; special friend, Sam Cheek. Arrangements will be private.
