Peggy G Johnson

Peggy G. Johnson, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at a local hospital. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She was employed with American Uniform for twenty years. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Erbie T. Scoggins and Ellen A. Lackey Scoggins and was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years William "Jack" Johnson who passed away six weeks ago and three brothers: Tommy Scoggins, Frank Scoggins and J.R. Scoggins. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Johnson of Cleveland; two sisters: Evelyn Barber and Carolyn Garrett both of Cleveland; one brother, Don Scoggins of Goodletsville, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey and Minister Bill Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dwayne Key, Kenny Key, Donnie Ray Scoggins, Chris Flowers, Brent Townsend and Heath Dunn serving as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the funeral home.
