Kenneth Eugene Smith

Kenneth Smith, 60, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Silas and Ruby Lee Wooden Smith. Survivors include his fiancé? June Parker of Cleveland; one sister, Diane McPhetridge of Cleveland and two brothers: Larry Smith of Chickamauga, GA and Tommy Smith of Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Arthur Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with James White, Scott Hewitt, Hank Smith, Jr., Anthony Burger, Jimmy Peak, Chris Richardson and David Smith serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
