Edith L Lawson

Edith L. Lawson, 74, a life long resident of McDonald, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at the family residence. She was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church She was retired from Allied Bendix Corporation after thirty years of service. Mrs. Lawson was the daughter of the late George Jones and Mary Caroline "Callie" Swafford Jones and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lawson and brothers, Clyde Jones and Harvey Jones. She is survived by her five children and spouses: Diane Morrow, Janice and Danny Cash, Gary and Linda Lawson all of Cleveland, Tracy and Steve Buckner of McDonald and Stacy Davis of Cleveland; ten grandchildren: David Sink, Jr., Maranda Shourd, Dustin Cash, Jessica Grady, Phillip Lawson, Jacob Buckner, Trevor Buckner, Dylan Cooley, Cameron Davis and Riley White; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Assistant Pastor Charlie Johnson of Ridgeview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Dustin Cash, Danny Cash, Steve Buckner, Jamie White, Rudy Clark and Toby Owens will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Lawson, Trevor Buckner, Jacob Buckner, Dylan Cooley, Cameron Davis and Riley White. Her family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2998 at the funeral home.
