Harry L Miller

Harry L. Miller, 71, a resident of Meigs County passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at the family residence. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Tabernacle since 1972 where he was Sunday school superintendent and served on the building committee. He was a well known business man in Cleveland and was the owner of A&A Glass for many years. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Miller was the son of the late Coy Miller and Louise Runyun Miller and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Esma Sue Miller who passed away on May 23, 1970 and two infant sisters. He is survived by his wife, Lorene F. Miller of Meigs County; two children and spouses: Randy and Krystal Miller and Vickie and Mark Youngblood all of Cleveland; five brothers and spouses: Wesley and Frankie Miller of Athens, Doug and Linda Miller, Earshel and Penny Miller all of Cleveland, Don and Teresa Miller of Charleston and Winston Miller of Cleveland; three sisters: Inga Miller of Knoxville, Shirley Miller Farmer and Becky Miller Haney both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor John Bivens officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Stacy White, Gary Miller, Darren Miller, Michael White, Marvin Miller and James Holloway serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and also from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to Family Hospice, 175 24th Street NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
