Betty H Hawkins

H. Hawkins, 82, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010, at her home. She was employed with American Uniform for twenty five years and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Her parents, Leonard S. and Rosa Ann Hodges Carroll, preceded her in death as well as her husband, Nathan Hawkins, son, Luther M. Hawkins, one sister, Mabel O. Goda, and two brothers: Archie L. Carroll and Baxter C. Carroll. She is survived by two children: Allan S. Hawkins and wife Wyvonna of Byron, GA, and Marcella K. Womac and husband Danny of Cleveland; three grandchildren: Daniel N. Womac and wife Amber, Amanda Hamby and husband Travis, and Tiffanie J. Cryer and husband Justin; great-grandchildren: Kaylynn N. Hamby, Andrew N. Womac, Dylan N. Womac, Wynter B. Hamby and Phillip E. Hamby; one sister, Reba Randall and husband Grady; two brothers: Robert N. Carroll and wife Shirley, Junior Carroll and wife Sue; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Redman and Reverend Eugene Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Eddie Carroll, Tom Carroll, Bobby Cissom, Tim Prock, Jimmy D. Stewart and Ricky Stewart will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
