Hilluard O Corvin

Hilluard “Bill” Corvin, 85, a resident of Kissimmee, Florida passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Mr. Corvin was retired after 21 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a jeweler and watch maker until his death. He was married for 61 years to Sara Ruth Corvin who passed away February 6, 2008. He is survived by his three children: Thomas Corvin, Patricia Ammons, and Pamela Owens; seven grandchildren: James Ammons, Janet Moody, Jermey Ammons, Debra Stoddard, Tonya Johnson, Christopher Gates (deceased) and Todd Corvin; nine great-grandchildren: Aaron Moody, Sara Moody, Katie Collins, Beth Anne Collins, Sidney Ammons, Grace Stoddard, Corvin Ammons, John Parker Corvin and Jack Ammons; and great-great-grandchild Matthew Moody. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Ray Ammons officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. His family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
