Randall Red Wright

September 6, 1930 — December 23, 2010

Randall “Red” Wright, 80, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at the family residence. He was a member of Bancroft Church of God. He had been self-employed prior to retirement. He rebuilt automatic transmissions for more than 30 years. He was a wonderful husband and father who enjoyed hunting and breaking Tennessee Walking horses. He was best known for his sincere love and worship of the Lord and is celebrating the Homecoming he so longed for. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Wright, parents, William and Mollie Wright, sisters: Lora Smith and Nell Legoo, brother, Paul “Cotton” Wright, and great-granddaughter, Jadyn Storm Day. He is survived by a daughter, Sandy Hacker and husband Jerry; son, Larry Wright and wife Tena; grandchildren: Amanda Day and husband Thomas, April Barr and husband Brad, Daniel Hacker, Adam Wright and wife Laura, and Jason Wright; great-grandchildren: Mikayla Day, Kaden Barr, Brianna Barr, Cole Wright, and Autum Wright; brother, William Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Norman Stallings and Reverend Dennis Price officiating. Concluding graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Earls Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service in the chapel.
