Alonzo Perry, Jr., 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, at his home. He was a retired coal miner. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Perry; parents, Alonzo Perry, Sr. and Virginia Maynard Perry; other mother, Irma Marie Perry Marcum; sister, Vergie Pack; brothers, Allen Perry, Elwood Perry, Sr., Carl Perry and Alfred Donnie Perry; and granddaughter, Casey Nichole Pinnick. He is survived by his eight children and spouses, Marshall and Stephany Perry, Patricia and Ron Pennick, Larry and Cathy Perry and Sandra and Bubby Bradley, all of Cleveland, David and Carol Perry of Welch, WV, Virginia Perry, Alonzo Kenneth Perry and Paul Michael and Theresa Perry, all of Cleveland; sisters, Evelyn Burress and husband, Ervin and Alice Malphus and husband, Larry, all of TN and Florence Ann Smith and husband, Donnie; brothers, Willard Perry and wife, Flossie and Charles Perry and wife, Elaine, all of Tazwell, VA, Raymond Perry and wife, Pauline of Richmond, VA and Ronnie Perry and wife, Elaine of OH; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extend family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. His family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
