Sybil Pearlman

Sybil Pearlman, 80, of Cleveland, died Aug. 26, 2008, at a local hospital following a brief illness. Ms. Pearlman was a long time employee with Creditor?s Adjustment Bureau which later became Credit Bureau Services, Inc. Her tenure with the credit bureau was from 1977 until her retirement in 1999. She is remembered by her friends and co-workers as a dedicated professional who was dependable and loyal. She was also a caring friend and colleague. Prior to coming to Cleveland, she worked at C&S Bank and was also employed with the State of Alabama. Ms. Pearlman?s only daughter, Cheryl Bridges was involved in a head-on auto collision while she was traveling from the hospital to her home in Georgia. She had been by her mother?s side in Cleveland, prior to her death. Cheryl will be in the hospital for an extended time and will be undergoing several surgeries. While Cheryl is hospitalized, her mother?s friends in Cleveland will hold a memorial service in Cleveland. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 5th at the Bald Headed Bistro in the Village Green Town Center. The service will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. conducted by Allan Jones, her former employer and friend for more than 20 years. Ms. Pearlman?s remains will be taken to Leesburg, GA where family members will hold a private graveside service in the near future. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Gene and Cheryl Bridges of Leesburg, Ga.; two grandsons, Ron Bridges and wife Grace Ann of Bonita, Fla., and Chris Bridges of Leesburg, Ga.; three great grandchildren: Noah and Sarah Bridges of Bonita, Fla., and Brandy Bridges of Leesburg; a sister and brother-in-law Edwin and Ruth Rackley of Camilla, Ga., a sister-in-law, Janice Temples of Morgan, Ga., and a niece Carol Case of Morgan, Ga. Friends and former co-workers are invited to attend the Cleveland memorial on Friday as Sybil Pearlman, friend and co-worker, is remembered.
