Daniel J Casias

Daniel J. Casias, 17, a resident of Charleston, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a junior at Walker Valley High School and loved the outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Candies Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Jerri Stanley. Survivors include parents, Benjamin and Denise Casias, Jr. of Charleston; one sister, Jessica Stanley; two brothers: Benjamin Casias, III and Charlie Casias all of Charleston; paternal grandparents Ben and Elizabeth Casias of Pueblo, CO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Candies Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Jamison Work officiating. Interment will follow in Center Point Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2008 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
