Danny E Glover

Daniel Elliston Glover, 43, a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, September 18, 2008 at his residence. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and game hunting since his childhood. He was of the Baptist faith and formerly attended Cedar Springs Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Jackson Manufacturing Company. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie O. and Della Vina Dalton Pierce and paternal grandparents, John Wesley Glover and Ocie Lee Inman of Covington, TN He is survived by his daughter, Miranda Nichole Glover of Cleveland; grandchildren who adored their papaw, Cameron Skylar Merrell, twins, Stephen Elliston and Sarah Lynn Merrell; mother and stepdad, Betty Jean and Harold Palmer of Cleveland; father and stepmom, John and Muriel Glover of Georgetown; brother and sister-in-law, John O. Glover and Delores Glover of Cleveland; sisters and brother-in-law, Amber and Bruce Schrock and Lynn Glover Parker all of Cleveland; nephew, Aaron Schrock of Cleveland; step brothers, Harold Palmer, Jr. and William Palmer both of Cleveland and Jimmy Lee Palmer of Georgetown; very special hunting and fishing companion and friend, Randy Hooker as well as a very special uncle and hunting companion, Jerry Wayne Glover of Cleveland; special aunt, Jerrell Elliott of Jefferson City, TN; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins of Cleveland, Camden, Covington and Memphis, TN also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Friendship Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Randy Hooker, Larry Glover, Dewey Woody, Mike Woody, Jimmy Woody, Wesley Glover, Billy Pierce, Kenny Pierce, Curtis Pierce and Lucas Pierce will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the funeral home.
