Betty C. Goodman, 63, a resident of Cleveland for the past 22 years passed away Monday, September 22, 2008 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Jones; brother, James D. Jones and a sister, Roberta Szybala. She is survived by her mother, Lucille Jones of Cleveland; two children: James Daniel McCarthy and wife Teresa Uttermohlen of Baltimore, MD and Kathleen S. Kroon and husband Edward A. Kroon of St. Louis, MO; one granddaughter, Melanie Kroon of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Barbara Griffin Kyle and husband James Kyle of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
