Bobby Gene Withrow, 73, a resident of McDonald passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Withrow was a well known farmer in the Bradley County area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Agnes Davis Withrow; sister, Mamie Lee Tinsley and brother, Paul Withrow. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jewell Tatum Withrow of McDonald; children: Teresa Grant and husband, Larry of Cleveland, Kim Duckett and husband, Brad of McDonald; 3 grandchildren: Kelley and Gary Weber of Cleveland, Shelby and John Workman of Alexandria, VA, Bradley and Amanda Duckett of Decatur; 2 great grandchildren: Caroline Grace Johnson of Cleveland and Isaac Workman of Alexandria, VA; 2 sisters: Linda Mathews and Sue Beam both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Cheatham and the Reverend Sammy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
