Kaye Marie Thomas, 40, a life long resident of Bradley County, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. She was of the Christian faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She was an avid lover of jewelry and devoted her life to raising her children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby A. Thomas who passed away on August 10, 2008 and was also preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Mason, paternal grandparents, Ruth and Earl Thomas and her uncle, William Mason. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Elliott of Cleveland; her loving father, Gary Thomas of Cleveland; her daughter, Amanda Thomas; her son, Gary Lynn and grandson, Jaylen all of Cleveland; her sister, Kelley Rogers and her husband, Kerry of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Scott Moore of Cleveland; three nieces: LaKeshia, Shandy and MaKinzey; one great niece, Amya; two great nephews: Brian and BraShaun all of Cleveland; uncles and spouses: Audilee and Mary Stepp of Brunswick, GA, Bobby and Teresa Lowe of Cleveland, J.E. and Carolyn Thomas; two aunts: Karen Davis of Old Fort and Kaye Briggman of Atlanta, GA; special friend, Diane Davis of Cleveland; and a host of cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Bill Hembry, Roger Hembry, Earl Hembry, Dusty Bowers, Rusty Bowers and Tommy Hembrey will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 and also from 3-8 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the funeral home.
