McClain Wenfield Hamilton

McClain “Mack” Wenfield Hamilton, 58, of Cleveland and formerly of Spring City, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a graduate of Spring City High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 43 and Eaton Corporation. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, McClain Wenfield Hamilton, Sr. and mother, Paulene Miller Hamilton. He is survived by his wife, Janice Kersey of Cleveland; son, Jonathan Hamilton and wife, Amber of Dayton; daughters, Joy Hamilton of Clarksville and Jane Hamilton of Cleveland; stepson, Barry Johnson and wife, Joann of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 19. 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
