Frances “Juanita” Wiar, 77, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at her residence. She was retired from Frito Lay and was a former owner of Bill’s Buffing and Polishing in Michigan. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis Wiar; parents, Arlen and Ollie Callahan; daughter, Clarissa Stefani; and two brothers, Hoyle and William Callahan. She is survived by her children, Pamela Mullinax of Cleveland, Regina Hoover of Cleveland, Christopher Wiar of Cleveland, Angie Gay and husband, Brian of Cleveland, Janet Harkey and husband, the Reverend Don Harkey of Hillsdale, MI, Gerald Wier and wife, Theresa of Taylor, MI, Paula Kemp and husband, Daniel, Brenda Jolly and husband, Tom and Debbie Wiar, all of Traverse City, MI; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Faye Cloer and husband, Sheridan of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Gilbert officiating. Interment will be Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
