Jo Ann Ridgeway

Jo Ann Ridgeway, 62, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was of the Church of God faith. She was a Bradley Central High School graduate of the class of 1966. She was presently employed by Duracell where she has worked for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tillman Edsel Allison and Dorothy Lee Hysinger Allison and her husband, Lemuel Ridgeway. Survivors include her children: Vicki Alloway and Christine Alloway both of Cleveland and Jonathan Ridgeway and wife, Stacey of Benton; grandchildren: Hailey Wilcox, Hunter Wilcox and Heaven Wilcox all of Cleveland; brother, Timothy Allison of Cleveland; aunts and uncles: Mamie Sue and David Fortner, Kenneth and Jean Hysinger, Charles and Mary Ruth Hysinger all of Cleveland, Henry and Molly Bowman of Birchwood, Charlie and Lillian Allison of Georgetown and Edna Ferguson of Decatur and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Leslie officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
