Bonnie Lou Beaty

June 18, 1947 — December 26, 2009

Bonnie Lou Beaty, 62, a resident of Cleveland for the past 40 years after moving from Williamsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the family residence. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God. She was a teacher in the Bradley County School System for 33 years and spent 32 of her years teaching at Charleston High School. In 1977 she was elected as Bradley County Teacher of the year. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse F. Reffner and Lois Jean Frye Reffner. Survivors include her husband, Robert Joseph Beaty; one daughter, Gina Daresta; two grandchilren: Eddie Daresta and Sydney Daresta and one brother Bob Reffner all of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Mitch Maloney officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
