Elizabeth H Evans

Elizabeth Evans, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. She worked for Charleston Hosiery Mill for 52 years. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Evans and parents, John Wesley Henderson and Bertha Alma Goins Henderson. She is survived by her son, Steve Evans of Cleveland; grandchildren, Chuck Evans and wife, Susan, Terri Evans and Joshua Evans, all of Cleveland; and great grandchildren, Luke Evans, Meryn Evans, Laura Evans, Julia Evans and Henry Jordon, all of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
