Margaret Irene Geren

Margaret Irene Geren, 85, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 in a Sweetwater hospital. She was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Duncan and Lillie Marie Humberd Duncan; and husband, Lynn Haven Geren; son, David Lynn Geren and daughter-in-law, Brenda Geren. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Annette Wright and husband, Doug of Cleveland; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Tomielene Sorg and husband, Gene of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Lyle White and Johnnie Humberd officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Andy Wright, David Geren, Matthew Wyatt, Cody Knight, Lynn Wright and Jody Wyatt serving as pallbearers. Ryan Wright , Hayden Bishop and Gavin Bishop will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 12- 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the funeral home prior to the service.
