Wanda Phillips Haney, 67, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away at her residence Saturday, January 9, 2010. She was a member of the Union Grove Church of Christ. Mrs. Haney was a loving and caring mother who was devoted to her family and had a great love of camping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy D. Haney; father, Hubert Phillips; and grandson, Hunter Haney; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Gladys Cawood Haney. She is survived by her mother, Josephine Still Phillips, of Cleveland; five children and their spouses-Debbie Clark and husband Randall of Georgetown, TN, Tammy Murray and husband David, Mike Haney and wife Leann, Richard Haney, David Haney and wife Misty, all of Cleveland; nine grandchildren-Tiffany Teasley, Chrystal Varnell, Seth, Jesi, and Josie Murray. Chase Haney, Austin and Haden Ward, and Amber Hartline; two great-grandchildren-Micah and Ali Teasley; one sister-Peggy Brown of Cleveland; one brother-Larry Phillips of Cleveland; special friend Alice Maples; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Ted Gobble officiating. Interment will be in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends Monday, January 11, 2010, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
