Norman Ross Pike

October 23, 1939 — January 15, 2010

Norman Ross Pike, 70, of Old Fort, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010 at his residence. He was a retired truck driver. He also served in the Tennessee National Guard. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldrick Pike and Paralee “Tootsie” Malone Johnson, and also two brothers: Gordy Pike and Ray Pike. He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Cartwright of Old Fort and Linda Wilson of Ocoee; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Davis of Riceville; and brothers, Dennis Pike, Earl Pike and Reece Pike, all of Old Fort, Melvin Pike of Charleston and Meldred Pike of Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Lee and Pastor Jerry Herron officiating. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 and Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
