Jean Stewart Boyd

Jean Stewart Boyd, 81, a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 in a Chattanooga health facility. She was a charter member of Westmore Church of God where she also served as secretary for many years. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie C. Boyd; parents; Opie Reed Stewart and Essie Barnett Stewart; and brother, Opie Ray Stewart. She is survived by one daughter; Tammy Boyd Simmons and husband LTC Chaplain Terry Simmons of Fortson, GA.; grandchildren: Tyler Holley and wife Krista of Memphis, TN, Darren Holley of Nashville, TN., Joshua Simmons and Timothy Simmons, both of Fortson GA., one brother, Nathan Stewart of Atlanta GA.; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Wendell Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
