Katherine M. Wilson, 79, of Benton, formerly of Athens, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, in a Cleveland healthcare facility. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener. Her parents, James P. and Irene Elrod McDonald, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, P. W. Wilson of Benton; two daughters and spouses: Donna and Kim Randolph of Cleveland, and Susan and Tim Rayburn of Mebane, NC; five grandchildren: Jason Randolph and wife Katie of Atlanta, Jeremy Randolph and wife Kathryn of Cleveland, Bethany Hogan and husband John of Cleveland, Chad Rayburn of Atlanta, and Michael Rayburn and wife Lauren of Haw River, NC; and seven great grandchildren: Abi and Max Randolph, Ella and Sam Randolph, Noah and Henry Hogan, and Elijah Rayburn. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, January 7, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, TN with Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Jason Randolph, Jeremy Randolph, Chad Rayburn, Michael Rayburn, John Hogan and Tim Rayburn will serve as pallbearers.
