Katherine Pauline Long

Katherine Pauline McCuiston Long, 84, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010, in a local hospital. She attended Red Hill Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Louis and Nancy Jane Wattenbarger McCuiston; one daughter-Charlotte Johnson; eight sisters-Alice Guyer, Myrtle Wood, Barbara Chastain, Carrie Bozeman, Martha Stanley, Anna Sue Brown, Irene Riggs, Ruth Long; and six brothers-John Maupin, Louis McCuiston, Charles McCuiston, George McCuiston, Nathaniel McCuiston, and Rankin McCuiston. She is survived by three children; Katherine Clinton and husband Ray of Tunell Hill, Ga, Nancy Johnson and husband Mike of Amarillo, TX, and Teresa Hughes and husband Dwayne of Cleveland, TN; six grandchildren- Michelle Adams of Ringgold, GA, Misty Bowman of Chatsworth, GA, Natalie Cunningham of Hixson, TN, Heather Wilson-Cruz of Youngsville, NC, John Simonds of Raleigh, NC, and Tiffany McKinnon of Memphis, TN; and four great-grandchildren-Madison Bowman, Macie Bowman, Nicholas Wilson-Cruz, and Dakota Bolen. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Janet Geitner. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Bobby McCuiston, Kenneth McCuiston, Fred McCuiston, Rick McCuiston, Mitchell Long, and Ronnie McKinnon will serve as pallbearers.
