Betty Elizabeth Dunn, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, in her home. She was a charter member of Maple Street Baptist Church where she formerly served as choir member, youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and VBS teacher and was involved in other church activities as well. She was a retired poultry farmer for Seaboard Allied Farms where she was the number one grower for several years. She was a former supervisor at Hardwick Clothes and also at Belcraft Industries in Dalton, GA. She was a member of Chilcutt Home Demonstration Club and loved gardening, doing crafts and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Dunn, Sr., her parents, William and Jennie DuBois, and two sisters: Louise Williamson Talbott and Geneva Bates. She is survived by seven children and their spouses: Dot and Ralph Harris of Dalton, GA, William F. Dunn, Jr. and Claudia of Cleveland, Linda and Ed Cross of Cleveland, Kathleen Susie and Spencer Evans of Countryside, IL, Robert and Vickie Dunn of Cleveland, Janice and Danny Casteel of Cleveland, and Deborah and Chuck Beshears of Cleveland; thirteen grandchildren: Lee Harris, Julie Galloway, Kelly Forgey, Karen Branham, Tim Dunn, Richmond Flowers, Jenny Burdette, Jamie Collard, Mike Dunn, Brett Dunn, Rocky Casteel, Blake Casteel and Jackie Goins; twenty great grandchildren: Kara Harris, Zachary Harris, Hunter Cantrell, Kierston Keefer, Katlynn Keefer, Kimberly Keefer, Avery Galloway, Autumn Galloway, Chandler Flowers, MacKenzie Flowers, Gabe Flowers, Brandon Forgey, Amber Burdette, Shannon Burdette, Colton Burdette, Madison Collard, Lane Collard, Chance Dunn, Jackson Dunn, Mason Casteel, Cailyn Norris, and Charlie Beshears; and two great-great grandchildren: Marley Flowers and Zola Burdette. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Mowery officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Tim Dunn, Lee Harris, Richmond Flowers, Mike Dunn, Rocky Casteel, Blake Casteel and Brett Dunn will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 4 ? 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
